A large percentage of our patients are seen for malignant conditions and our goal is always to cure the patient by removing the tumor while maintaining excellent patient health, function and appearance.
Surgery for cancer of the thyroid, breast, colon, stomach, pancreas, esophagus, lung and liver are routinely performed by our group and are discussed under the links to these respective diseases.
In addition, we have extensive experience with sarcomas (soft tissue tumors), melanomas and other skin tumors as well as rare tumors elsewhere in the abdomen, vascular system and neck.
We work closely with radiation and medical oncologists and the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula’s Cancer Center to integrate our procedures smoothly with the patient’s total cancer care.
